At Hixson Farms, every Sensory Farm Day is intentionally designed to provide a calm, welcoming environment where families can enjoy animals and nature at their own pace.
There are no loud speakers.
No crowded lines.
No pressure to participate.
Just a peaceful evening on the farm.
What Makes Us Different?
Predictability
Every visit follows the same familiar routine:

The activities may change each month, but the schedule stays the same.
Small Groups
Attendance is limited to approximately 12 families.
That means:

✔ More time with the animals
✔ Less waiting
✔ Less overstimulation
Freedom
There are no expectations.
Children are welcome to explore at their own pace.
If brushing the Highland cow for 30 minutes is the highlight of the evening...
That's perfectly okay.
Calm
Everything is intentionally designed to encourage regulation.
No loud music.
No whistles.
No microphones.
No rushed schedules.
No pressure.
Sensory Farm Day is the 2nd Thursday of every month.
5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

$35 per family
Up to five family members
